Now Hiring: Lead Toddler Teacher

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote toddlers' cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
  
  
• Encourage early language development, independence, problem-solving, and positive social interactions.
  
  
• Provide nurturing care and support during daily routines, including meals, diapering, potty training, handwashing, and nap time.
  
  
• Maintain active supervision and ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
  
  
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning through play.
  
  
• Observe and document children's developmental progress and milestones.
  
  
• Communicate professionally and positively with parents about their child's daily activities, progress, and needs.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized classroom in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
  
  
• Follow Georgia childcare licensing requirements, center policies, and classroom procedures.
  
  
• Maintain accurate classroom records and complete required documentation.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and management to maintain classroom quality and support the center's educational goals.
  
  
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and Quality Rated initiatives.
  
  

• Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or early learning setting preferred.
  
  
• CDA, TCC, or a degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
  
  
• Knowledge of toddler development, positive guidance techniques, and age-appropriate teaching practices.
  
  
• Ability to manage a classroom while providing warm, responsive, and individualized care.
  
  
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom leadership skills.
  
  
• Dependable, punctual, patient, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively with a team and maintain positive relationships with families.
  
  
• Must meet Georgia childcare licensing requirements, including required training.
